The TL's Role in the Elementary School Library
I have created this blog to generate ideas for effective school library programs. I would like elementary school librarians to use this blog to post creative lesson ideas to help our teachers and our students develop skills for the 21st Century. Specifically, let's work together to create ideas for information literacy and literacy lessons. As well, any ideas for subject integration and literacy strategy instructions would be great! I know our time is limited and that's why sharing ideas and resources would be great! I am especially interested in library programs at different boards and what people are doing that's innovative and creative.

wow I think it is a very good idea to discuss ways to promote the love of books to students!!
ReplyDeleteto post certain ideas on a blog and encourage the students to make their own blogs this will help by getting the opinions from the students which will benifit them in the long run.
It is a great idea to have students blog to one another. I was thinking that it would be great to have a literacy blog where junior students could share their thoughts on books that they have read. I will post some of their comments to this blog.
ReplyDeleteI read a Book called Heartsick it's by Chelsea Cain.
ReplyDeleteits a thriller and it's a teen to young adult book but other than that it's a must read and when i read it i could not put it down i highly recommed this book.
